I bought this to replace the power supply that came with my Asus 1000H. The price was terrific compared to other sites. I saved 10 to 20 dollars over other companies I searched.
Given the cost, and that it works just fine I have no complaints. The unit is the same size and weight as the one that came with the netbook.
There was a slight difference. When you insert the barrel of the plug into your laptop, it does not go fully in. But this is because the barrel is a quarter inch longer than the one supplied by Asus. Given the money I saved and that this does not effect the operation of the power supply, this is not a problem. But just don't be surprised like I was the first time I plugged it in. I have been using it for over 3 months now, and there are no consequences of the added barrel length.

BEWARE of this cheap charger. I bought it for my 1000HE after the original charger died, but once i plugged in my laptop and turned it on it died within five minuets. It never turned on again, IT FRIED MY LAPTOP. all specs on the charger match the originals perfectly. the charging battery light no longer blinks when plugged in, I have tried everything to fix it/recover it. BEWARE OF THIS CHARGER, IT MIGHT PERMANENTLY KILL YOUR LAPTOP.

I originally bought one and immediately found it was defective..or just crappy to begin with. I was emailed by the seller and they said they would send a new one to make up for it in hopes I would change my review (1 star). They sent me the order info etc and I have yet to get it. I believe they did this to trick me into removing (permanently the review without the option of reviewing it again) my original negative review.

Bought this as replacement adapter for my Asus 1000HE. It is the right voltage and current rating, and the plug size was the correct fit. Good value for the money, and fast shipping.

I purchased this item to replace my old ac adapter(model:EXA0801XA).At first it worked fine till i heard it crackle and give out, it was also extremely hot to the touch. after it cooled down I found out the label wasn't the original as if it was swapped from an EXA0801XA model ac adapter. This is a rip off and a cheat!!!
