Ordered the adapter based on the picture, the main reason for ordering it was for the right angle adapter end. Also noticed that the power end was 2 prong and not 3 prong which I wanted as well. When the adapter arrived it was nothing like the picture, it had a straight adapter end and it had a 3 prong plug. I complained and the vendor was very eager to make it right. After a couple of emails the lady said she confirmed that they had the correct adapter and if I would retract my neutral review she would send it to me at no charge. Agreed! I pulled my neutral review and withing 5 days I had a new package at my door. However after opening the package I discovered that it is the EXACT SAME ADAPTER that they sent the first time. Apparently she didn't 'confirm' anything. I emailed her back and she apologized and said that they didn't have the correct adapter. She arranged for a full refund including shipping which I received promptly. Their customer service is good, they seem eager to do the right thing, but they were not very thorough in actually finding out if they had the adapter that was pictured. I haven't checked yet but it would be very disappointing if the same picture was in their add yet they were still selling something different.

i needed a new ac adapter for my netbook and this works perfectly. the shipment was on time so that i would have it for my trip overseas.

This AC adapter was delivered quickly. It looks and works just like the original that came with my ASUS 1000HE. I has worked perfectly.

My stock adapter for my eeePC failed after a few years of use, so I bought this as a replacement. On the fourth use, after inserting the end into my computer, it began alternating between AC power and Battery power very rapidly. I unplugged the unit and inserted into another wall socket, same thing. I ended up taking the section of the power cord that plugs into the wall and swapping it with my stock power cord. It works so far, but most people may not have this luxury.
So now i have a working cord, composed of the adapter/netbook plugin of this product, combined with the two prong/wall socket part from my old power cord.

I've had this for over a week and no problems yet. It's a generic adapter, so I was worried that it might overheat or melt (!) like some other reviews for generic Eee adapters, but this one is barely warm to the touch and it charges perfectly. The cord isn't quite as long as I'd like it (seems shorter by a foot), but it's worth it to have a charger that doesn't melt and create a fire hazard.
