The power supply for my ASUS 1005HA failed, just as I really needed it for an exam. After much searching, I finally found this power supply that matched the specifications of the original. Plugged it in and has been working perfectly ever since. Seems to be a little more rugged than the original. I also had it the next day, which was a real plus.

This did not work for my 1005HA netbook.. it was too small for some reason! I ended up returning it.

This adapter works perfectly to charge my Eee PC 1005HA. The connector fits as well as the power adapter that came bundled with the computer, clicking in place just like the original. However, it seems to stay way cooler than the adapter that came bundled with the computer -- which was very hot to the touch, and would regularly overheat and stop charging the computer until it cooled down. This charger stays relatively cool, and hasn't overheated at all. Very glad I went with this charger instead of another OEM replacement.

Our Asus eee netbook's power transformer died - an all too common problem with these netbooks. The warranty is way short and so I would have had to purchase a replacement from Asus. Fortunately, HQRP makes a compatible, aftermarket replacement.
It works. That's a good start.
Will it keep working? Hope so, but it's too early to tell right now.
It certainly seems more solid and well built than the failed asus power transformer.
Not sure, but it might have been cheaper than the Asus version. Check that out.
It also might be a bit heavier. It does seem more solidly built. If you count ounces when you travel you should check that out too.
